Week 11: The Americas
This Class Runs MONDAY, OCTOBER 8th to THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11th, 2018

Course Objective:
In this class, students will focus on cuisine from The Americas. We will break down the US by classical dishes popular in the four regions of the US: Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest. Then we will head down south through Central America to focus on the techniques and recipes from two popular food forward countries: Mexico and Guatamala.

We will further focus on dishes from South American countries that have some of the most intricate and delectable dishes the world over: Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. Then we will explore the tropical climate focused dishes of Cuba and Puerto Rico.
