NOTE: Children ages 15+ are welcome to participate in the class without supervision. Each class will begin with a short tutorial on knife skills, as in all of our classes and Herbs & Spices 101.

Paleo is simply eating anything that is not refined...which basically means you're not eating a ton of simple, over processed carbs or wheat products (which is like everything good--bread, crackers, cereals, bagels, donuts, anything with sugar or anything that makes you happy like chocolate, dairy, or seed oils).

The point of cooking Paleo is finding a way to eat healthy whole foods by making them delicious and satisfying by using herbs and spices.

Paleo food is great on your food budget because you're just buying the basics, and it gets you results quickly because you're not starving.

When you starve yourself, or deny yourself calories, your body actually holds onto fat as a physical reaction to starvation. Eating healthy whole satisfying meals by cutting out the bad foods that have hidden calories and fat will give you the energy you need to support your new daily walk around the neighborhood, yoga or bike rides in the park.

Conquering your fear of the kitchen will make you lose weight for one simple reason, you control what goes into your food. And that control is the difference between wearing your calories or using your food as fuel.
