Saturday Night Social: French Cooking Techniques

In this class, we will make a few small French-Inspired bites that are a little on the technical side. Once you learn the techniques, you can make them for all of your friends.

Tarte Flambée: means “cheese pie baked in the flames”. Thin flatbread made right before your eyes, covered in onions, bacon and cream and finished at high temps for extra crispiness.

Aumoniere de Saumon et Crevette: Salmon wrapped in purse shape phyllo dough. Melt in your mouth salmon inside and crispy outside. Served with a “beurre blanc,” a traditional white wine sauce.

Gâteaux de Lave au Chocolat/Lava cake: The ultimate dark chocolate indulgence. Served with vanilla ice cream.
Wine available for purchase during the class.
